THE HELENA MAY GARDEN REOPENING PARTY

Managing Director Alexander (Sandy) Duggie attended the garden party held by The Helena May on 27th September to celebrate the reopening of their Garden following renovation work undertaken by The Peak Tram’s contractors. The renovation was necessitated by the upgrading to the neighbouring Peak Tram. Host Linda Ferguson, Chair of Council, and Guest of Honour Sir Michael Kadoorie, Chairman of Hong Kong & Shanghai Hotels Ltd, owner of The Peak Tram, both spoke of the importance of good neighbours and made reference to the fact that the Kadoorie family have a long association with The Helena May and contributed to the creation of the original garden in 1916. URBIS Limited provided expert advice to The Helena May during the garden renovation.
