Michael is an Associate Director and Landscape Architect with URBIS (Shanghai) Limited. Since graduating from Shanghai Jiao Tong University he has worked in consultancy and joined URBIS (Shanghai) Limited in 2005. He has 12 years of professional experience. His project experience includes public open park landscape; commercial and retail landscape; residential landscape in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China. His role in these projects has been both as part of the design team (including conceptual design; design development; detail design; soft and hard finishes selection; and furniture and artwork selection processes) as well as site supervision and project management processes (including design co-ordination with Client, Consultants and Contractors, site inspection; and both project procurement and implementation processes). Participated in a number of landscape design projects for famous communities in Shanghai and surrounding cities. Possess strong design creation ability, plan expansion ability and construction drawing design ability. I believe that the purpose of landscape design is to provide an environment suitable for people to live in, integrate natural ecology and modern technology, and truly communicate with nature.
